For me it was N+1, he approved everything (mumbai to benglore).

Hi can anyone tell me if laptop surrender is required in case of self initiated base location change.
If yes, no one is asking me to do it, my base location will be changed in next 9 days. Who will do the laptop surrender and new laptop request part??
And laptop needs to be surrender at base location only. If it's business initated transfer that u r eligible for settling allowance, relocation allowance which includes accommodation flight nd per diem expenses
You might need director level approval for inter City change, within the city is just with N+1 approval
Yes once the reporting manager approved or change your base location you can report there just you need the access and if required they will ask to surrender the laptop and request for new.
