Hi there,

I had 2 rounds of interviews with a company. They have shared background verification link. Does this mean that i am selected??

Not necessarily. Some companies require BGV to be cleared before going to the next stage. Quite common in financial domain companies. They might or might not conduct another round.

When i asked HR, she said that the 2nd interview was the last round

Then probably no further rounds. Check with your recruiter about the process. Sometimes the system sends out the BGV before the offer is rolled out. Better to get clarity on the next steps. Same had happened to me. On checking with recruiter, was told not to fill the BGV details until the offer was available in workday
