Trending @Capgemini; Background verification

I have been on bench for the past 2yrs in Capgemini. And most of the projects which I was selected for went on hold. Planning to resign now since there are no projects. What should i say in my next company interview when they ask me for my experience? As saying I was on bench, would be a big No for them. And how would the bgv process be? Would they contact capg and ask if i worked on any project as such and ask for my performance feedback? Someone pls reply!!!

Try to sit with someone who is already on a project. Ask him what is doing on their project and what his role is. And note down the same. Then in the interview tell the same things. Rest you need to learn the skills. Interview for a 2 years experience will likely be fresher just a beginner level knowledge required.basic question will asked.

Mostly they will not confirm about you working on a project or not. They can/will ask for contact details of your reporting manager or a colleague. But they won't go into details. You can take any two colleagues you knew on bench or you have been reporting to in confidence and share their contact details of asked.

As long as you have the relevant skills and the work experience mentioned in your resume, you're good to go. You just have to do the talking.
