Hello everyone, In my july appraisal cycle I got 2 rating but didn't get a promotion. For the same scenario most of my friends got promoted to B1 even though they got a project after me but in a different project. now what can i I do? I am planning to ask project release. If you have better suggestions pls share with me 🙏
You should check if you are/were billable. Resources who weren't billable ever don't get promotion or increment as per their ratings. The same happened with me , i got 1 rating but wasn't billable sp didn't get any promotions/increments.
You should push your comfort zone and move out of the organisation. Capgemini doesn’t provide enough hike even after promotion
Your BU pushes for promotion. Even if you do good work within your project and delivery team is happy, you still need to convince your BU. Connect with them, N+1, people manager with your supervisor and try to push for promotion. You have to push for it yourself nobody is going to do it for you.
You should discuss your concerns with your manager first. If that doesn't help, consider asking for a project release. Promotions can be subjective and depend on various factors.
