Currently I'm giving interviews and got an offer and an expecting offer from a few companies. is there any consequences for accepting the offer and not joining later? How do you guys approach a counter offer? Can I mention in the hr discussion itself I already have an offer and negotiate for better pay? Or get the possible pay from them and use it for further negotiation? is it ok to get 3,4 offers? I applied for all when I don't have none but it turns out to be a positive outcome for all the interviews I gave. Same time im feeling guilty as I'm snatching others chances. Pour your experience, strategies guys
I don't know about the legalities of it, but I have seen my friends doing it - accepting and not joining. As for the guilty part, don't even feel guilty. IT companies layoff in a day if their numbers aren't good. HRs barely worry about employees. So it's just like their karma hitting them back
