I joined Capgemini by november 2022.I am in the medical life science domain and was working on a few internal projects and now working on one client project .All of my team except me is from Pune location, actually I am thankful that they didn't asked to relocate to Pune and all.But thing is I am feeling too lonely when I am in office.everyone is talking to their team mates only and they won't even smile at others.I am feeling like I am in some jail that I can't talk to anyone.And after appraisal I felt like am done with this company. I am working on Python and Cpp,bit of ai/ml but I am not seeing any job post for python.So I confused about career.Can you guys tell me what will be good stick on here or searching in other company after 2 years?
Same with me , my whole team sits in Hyderabad. I alone sit in the Noida office . I go for 2 hours , as no one is there to lunch with me. I believe the most frustrating thing is doing lunch alone.

Same..so mostly I prefer not to have lunch in the office.I will go to ofc around 9 and leave around 5 to 5.30.Will take some biscuits with me or if I am hungry I prefer to have it around 2.30 to 3.So canteen will be empty so I won't feel that much lonely.
You must be frustrated single male cause ain't no woman can be lonely in Indian offices😅

It isn't like this. People are quite occupied and just into themselves these days. Whatever lil time they get they prefer to scroll on phone instead of interacting with fellow members. I face the same issue. This stereotype is long gone.

Keep searching if you are not satisfied with work life balance and salary. Leave the organisation as soon as you get a good offer. Although I feel this company is good for female employees if they are secondary earning member, considering the work life balance you get here. For primary earning members this company doesn’t pay very well.
