Hi, I am currently working in Capgemini since june 2024, I’ve been working in a project for the last six months, but I’ve been informed that the hot skill bonus which we used to get after completing a year in the project is now not given anymore, so can anybody advise me when my salary might increase and one more important thing and I really want to know is when I get promoted to senior software engineer, so will I get salary increase as senior software engineer and my performance project? will those things be combined, or it will be separate..
First thing first, getting promotion in Capgemini is a complete office politics game in most of the project , best case scenario you get 2 rating meaning some 50k increment but in reality the you only get some 2k per month raise , instead waiting for this promotion, skill up and switch

bro dont wait for promotion just skillup wait for atleast 1.5 years starts giving interviews took some offer and reaign if you are qorthy they will negotiate your sal and giving you promotion, yahan pe promotion kam sal walo ke hote hai aur hike bohot kam sal walo ko milti hai.

You'll have your first appraisal after 18 months from your DoJ. Promotion will totally depend upon you manager
First thing is that u will get promoted after completing 1 year in your current project
After that according to your performance rating your salary will increase
