Trending @Accenture; Yet to join accenture - Query on base location change.
Hi All, I have received an offer at the Accenture Pune location, but my preferred location is Chennai and Bengaluru. I had several discussions with HR for location change but He denied and verbally informed me that I can change location after joining.
Is there any chances for location change or else by keeping base location as Pune and Can I report to any other location? Is it possible, Please let me know. 🥲
Hi, They are changing location based on your preference you need to continuously follow up with your recruiting Hr, they changed my location as well. Before one month joining, the hr will call you any changes in offer letter then tell her about location change. Thank you.

Get the location changed in pffer letter , dont accept the offer until they dont change locatuon . I am currently facing many challemges they told they qpuld change base location but they dont if you accept the offer

Changing location after joining is bit difficult, getting project from Chennai or Banglore might not always possible. If you have another offer you can bargain to change location. If they want you they will issue new offer or sometime they will ignore or might think you will not join in given location. Handle with caution.

You can work from only the base location as of now. Base location can be changed after 2years as per their rules. One way you have is ask for a project that is based in Chennai and request them for approval to work from your preferred location hope this works

Try to get another offer and then tell the HR you won’t join if they don’t send a revised offer with the location you want.
If you don’t do this, you are locked for 2 years and there’s nothing you can do about that.
Stand firmly, they will revise the new offer letter (not sure, It worked for me)
