Trending @Accenture; Worst reward outcome - L11

I’m feeling quite discouraged. I was really hoping for a promotion this cycle, especially after all the hard work I’ve put in—putting in extra hours, supporting the team to hit our targets, and consistently meeting deadlines. But instead, I received only a 5.67% salary increase. It’s disappointing, especially since last year’s variable pay was 15%, and this time it’s just 6.3%. It’s not even half of what I got last year.

I’m one of the Dec '22 promotes from L12 to L11, and I had been at the same base pay of 5.25 for two full years, so I was expecting a promotion based on both my tenure at this level and my performance in this project. My managers have consistently praised my skills and work quality, even telling me I’m one of the most skilled members on the team. I’ve always done my best, worked without taking vacation—even when my request for two consecutive days off was denied.

On top of this, I feel a bit stuck. Since I joined Accenture, I’ve been placed in QA, specifically as a Manual QA. While I appreciate the domain and find my current work with SQL as a DB QA rewarding, I feel like I’m falling behind. I tried exploring new opportunities, but haven’t received responses—likely due to my limited skill set.

If anyone has advice, I’d really appreciate it. I know I need to upskill, and I’m ready to put in the work. But I need guidance on which path to take and where to focus my efforts next. Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

I can feel your pain. I am in same position as you and have great performance since last 2 years as analyst at 5.25 lpa. My reward outcome is not uet out. But if this would be the case i will be completely shattered why i wasted my time on them. I would start looking out if this is happening to most of people thats the only option we are left with

Yeah, better to look for opportunities outside.. I hope you get something good for now🥺

I am in a similar dilemma right now.
I am one of the most skilled in the team and have got several appraisals from my team. My reward outcome isn't released yet, but I will be extremely frustrated if I do not get a promotion. But my plan is clear, will start searching for job full time from Jan once the market opens up.
Suggest to keep your learning and upskilling on priority and start applying, while putting Accenture work on the backfoot, as the next hike will be in June which will be worse than the current cycle.

I feel the pain, I was in a similar situation, I was promised promotion and market correction, but nothing happend this time. It's difficult to believe and predict what can happen in next cycle, I suggest you to skill up and look out for opportunities which I started doing as well.

😢😢 This is really sad.. will try to look for better opportunities outside as that is the only option now😞

Its not work like that. Variable pay depends on lots of other factors. Your project and your account too has to perform good or say good budget
You are getting better hike compared to orhers

Agree with you but this all still is very frustrating and demotivating to continue working here 😢
