Trending @Accenture; Worked in Cloud, DevOps, Automation & Angular – Am I Underpaid or Just Exploring the Wrong Path?
Hi everyone! 👋 I recently got promoted and have around 1.10 years of experience. I’ve worked across multiple areas, both in my job and through personal projects. Here’s a quick overview:
Cloud & Automation – Azure (Functions, Logic Apps, Blob, Automation) – GCP (Cloud Functions, Firestore, BigQuery) – Python scripting, API integration, web scraping
🔹 DevOps (Self-Projects) – Azure Pipelines, Jenkins – Ansible, Terraform – Docker, Kubernetes – Git, GitHub
🔹 Data & Dashboards – Power BI with ServiceNow data – Power Automate + SharePoint – PostgreSQL, Looker Studio
🔹 Development – Python (backend) – Angular (frontend)
With this mix of experience, 👉 Am I underpaid for my role and level? 👉 If I want to switch, which path is better for long-term growth – DevOps, backend, platform, or something else?

I have similar skill set and 3.10 years of experience and fixed is 5.4 lpa so as per accenture standard you are paid compare to outside underpaid.
For long term career I would suggest devops, since most company implement cicd, even AI developement recommends kubernetes and containers so there is demand for devops engineers. Also you can transition to MLops/AIops/DATAops , where there is huge investment going on and nobody knows what it is
