Are there companies that don’t care about office attendance, as long as the work gets done — from the base location or from anywhere?
I guess you never worked before the pandemic?
Working from office is a different thing altogether, you're surrounded with people who has knowledge which you can never ever gain sitting alone in home.
When you talk to people you get to know things, it's not just good but bad things too. It's like you know what to do and what not to do.
A thing which can be solved in matter of mints sometimes takes days as you don't have people around you.
Also when you leave office you leave work there only no need to go back and open the laptop.
Its not about just going to office . If office visit is mandatory it should be flexible according to employee needs to . If there is a certain situation , they should allow it . And its not like whole team is sitting at one location , nowadays teams are sitting pan india , so either coming or not coming how can we meet our team then ?
Also work is not now on desktop we have laptop which we have to login when we come back home . Old days work criteria is not there in current scenarios
