Trending @Accenture; Work from office
I am a returning mother and have a 13 month old baby who is still nursing. I had raised an exception request, but it has been rejected by my workday manager stating that wfo once a week is mandatory for everyone. I don't think Accenture is women employee friendly or supports work/life balance anymore. They are just imposing this wfo with an intent to make employees quit voluntarily.
Don't say Accenture isn't woman friendly, if you're saying like this then other companies are worse. They're not approving for genuine health reasons itself, yours will also not be considered as my own manager is having a baby still she's working from the office. Excuse is the same for her but higher ups r like you can manage one day lol. I'm in no way telling what they did was right, just making you aware that's it.

Iam also a returning mother with a baby. He is also 13 months old. I have been tagged to t proj which I worked earlier (as per policy). I have specifically asked for WFH to all t projects I spoke and finally landed one. Am still not moved to t project. So to adhere to t wfo policy in the meanwhile, I started going office like few hours. 4 hours last Friday which is the max time I can b away.
What am saying is.. try to go few hours just to be on safer end. Do not quit. I don't think they will push anyone to stay for complete 9 hours which is unreasonable.

And since when has Accenture been the poster company for being reasonable

Not planning to quit, just yet. Even I am tagged to the project that I previously worked on for a short term role. Now that the project is coming to an end, they are rolling me off.. have to find a new role all over again and with this return to office hovering over, I think chances of finding a desired project are slim 😕

Never say Accenture isn’t woman friendly, Meanwhile while chances of getting promoted are women are always high.....and Even my manager said to my colleague she doesn't need to come to the office in the night shift....but for me he is pushing me to come to the office once a week....so from my pov Accenture in completely women friendly!!

Recent leadership changes may have shifted the company's direction, but managers' personal choices don't justify requiring all employees to return to the office without accommodating mothers with infants under 2.

A few days ago I made a post here saying how the guy at the top “Zurale” is not fit to be making decisions while roaming around in a limo. Apparently that was too much because that deleted after it started getting a lot of support on grapevine. And yes accenture is not women or family friendly at all. I’d recommend switching companies and jumping ships.

Same happened with my post
