I’m writing this post with a heavy heart and a sense of disappointment that’s hard to put into words. After years of hard work, dedication, and countless hours poured into my job, I was finally expecting the salary hike I’ve been striving for. It was supposed to be a moment of triumph, a recognition of my efforts, and a step forward in my career.
I love my work. It’s challenging, engaging, and fulfilling in many ways. The projects I handle and the team I work with bring a sense of purpose and satisfaction that keeps me motivated every day. This passion for my job makes it even more disheartening to face this situation, as it feels like the dedication I pour into my work isn’t being reciprocated.
However, the reality has fallen far short of my expectations. Despite my consistent performance and the promises made, the much-anticipated salary hike did not happen. It’s disheartening to work so hard, only to find out that the financial rewards promised as part of my compensation review are not being honored.
To make matters worse, the variable pay that was also promised hasn’t materialized. This variable pay was supposed to be a significant part of my compensation, providing not just monetary relief but also a sense of being valued and rewarded for my contributions.
I believe in the value of hard work and fair compensation. This situation has left me questioning the integrity and fairness of the company’s promises. It’s difficult to stay motivated and continue to give my best when I feel undervalued and under compensated.
To anyone else in a similar situation, I empathize with you deeply. It’s important to speak up and demand the fairness and respect that we deserve. Let’s hope that by raising our voices, we can bring about the changes needed to ensure that hard work and dedication are always appropriately rewarded.

I can totally relate with you, to be pecise at the moment I feel betrayed and cheated specially given the budget the company holds for external hires and the astronomical hikes (>100% hikes) they get when hired whereas loyal employees who have been working for years and have given their blood and sweat day and night to the company are neglected and they are the ones who pay the price. I paid the price for being loyal to the wrong organization i hope others do not fall in the same trap. From cussing people changing jobs in 1 or 2 years to being forced to quit my job I grew up, from cussing this whole system to becoming part of the system I grew up!! I urge everyone in a similar situation to quit this fraud company and move towards further carrer advancements. Its hightime for payback this company deserves every bit of the return....it should taste its own medicine. All the very best....happy quitting!!!

Despite putting in countless hours and giving my best effort at work, I haven't received any recognition in terms of a raise or promotion. It's incredibly frustrating and demotivating to see hard work go unnoticed. Everyone who is in the same boat—you're not alone, stay strong!
Completely agree with you, word by word it's a same story of mine with same position, as well as of many others.. employees have to decide their own path that's reality.
