Trending @Accenture; Wierd office incident
Hi,
On 31st December(Yesterday ) I was working from Pune office and only a few people were there in my Bay
Around 8 pm a guy(L12) came to me and asked he needs 2k urgently for his grandmother's hospital medicine in the village and he didn't have any money. I said this month's salary is credited, to which he said he had some charge code issue and that's why he will get it on 1st Jan and return tomorrow itself.
I hesitated a lot and asked many questions, but he was pleading for help. So after getting his eid and pinging him on teams I sent him 2k.
Now today I pinged him , no reply. Called him on the phone multiple times and still no reply. I know there might be a delay , but he should at least reply and tell he will give in a few days. I'm very confused and feeling dumb.
What can I do tomorrow, if he does not reply or pick up my call??

Report the incident to his manager and HRPA. You can find an employee's support people on their Workday profile
I connected with two more guys with whom he did the same. Should we send an email to his manager and HRPA about the incident or add everyone in a group chat and tell it. What would be the best option??
Obviously you should!! Keep the manager and HRPA in To, keep the guy in CC first, then all other people ehom he scammed
The same thing happened to me with someone in PDC2C last month. He asked me for money for his mother’s treatment and when I later messaged him to return it..he stopped responding, which seemed deliberate. This person is from PDC2C , please be cautious and avoid such fraudster type individuals.

Yes it's the same guy. We have given a final chance to send our money by this week else we are sending email with payment SS to his manager and HR lead
Guy asked me for money in same fashion but 5k I said please reachout to HR they can help you with some money from next month salary. and he never replied back.
