Trending @Accenture; Which is the best company to work, service based or product based companies?

Service Based - Learning, career progression (work-wise), opportunity to work in diverse projects
Product Based - Much better WLB, compensation, growth (financial).

In product-based firms, learning scope might be limited since you'll be working on pretty much same aspects (of course it is subjective and depends on roles)

A good stint at the start of the career at service-based firms where you gain knowledge and experience, and then using the same to switch in product-based with good compensation and WLB helps! imo

Product based

Believe me, in some product based companies they have their own frameworks and tools which has zero value outside. In those companies you won't learn anything..

Believe me product based is better in every aspect than service. In service based you would only learn junk processes which are only relevant to that company. Telling this after 12 yrs product and 4 yrs service experience.

As per view from functional side : Service based company good for learning and exploring
Product based company good for salary, you may settle down here. your work will be confined to the process which product base company is following.

Your own Kirana store

Product based is good in terms of good package , growth, depends on roles you will have good career progress and transition, on sites previously but currently less but compared to service it is better...etc
