Before hard there is soft , that's too apply in locking you for any role, they make is soft once it is fully confirmed that resources gonna come or join, they will make it hard lock, sometimes po is so stupid they directly give you hard lock without asking you, so anything possible depends on po to po and project to project and requirement to requirements
