Trending @Accenture; what is IP for level 9 resource

I had submitted my resignation a few days ago but later decided to revoke it due to some personal reasons. Recently, one of my previous team leads mentioned that there's a possibility of being moved to 'IP'. I'm not entirely sure what 'IP' means in this context, and I would like to understand what it entails and if there's any way to avoid it

Improvement plan.. that’s PIP to be honest.. They will hold you for 3-4 months and monitor your contribution before making you permanent again or let you go(sack you basically)

okay and in that case why they revoked the resignation

That’s coz they can bill you and at the same time monitor you as well.. Since you were about to leave there is a serious gap when it comes to trust.. so they will not take a risk unless the person managing you says otherwise and helps you out of it.

If you have an offer and want to leave then no one can stop you. But this will go down badly as you will not be rehired by Accenture again due to this revoke scenario

Yes.. They usually keep all this information under the carpet but honestly I share this will all my teammates before hand coz I know how it feels to be targeted and side lined.. I let my peers decide if they want to stay or make a choice to move out for better career growth opportunities..

Tell me one thing. U had bad feedback from previous project? If yes then how come they gave you another project within same DU knowing that you're non performer?

Ok i get it now what happened here.
You changed project, then put papers. Internal DU discussed to IP you coz thats common practice to IP people who put papers to fulfill quota and save active resource. Now you put back papers. Hence you ex PL informes that they may have targeted u to fill quota. and your new PL may not know it, he revoked ur resign... Quite a dilemma.
