I will be on bench from 2nd January, so looking for new role. Please help to understand current bench situation for salesforce developer roles.

From what I have heard from other leads, Salesforce is hiring from outside so their preference would be to hire people from bench. If you're a decent resource you'll get picked up

Salesforce has almost 0 bench at this point. They have more than 1000 openings at this point so if you are really good, you should not be worried. You will get picked up soon.
