Trending @Accenture; Update on WFO mandate
So, the WFO mandate—everyone at Accenture’s favorite topic these days. Thought I’d share a little personal experience.
I was under the impression that I had raised an exception. Turns out, thanks to a tool glitch, I never actually did. But here’s the kicker—I haven’t been contacted, questioned, or even reminded about WFO. Nothing. Radio silence.
Which got me thinking… is this whole WFO push just a psychological game? A way to scare employees into compliance without actual enforcement? They say they’re tracking swipe-ins and swipe-outs, but let’s be real—are they really checking attendance for thousands of employees? Sounds more like a well-placed fear tactic than a functional system.
Will keep on updating you guys further if someone does reach out to me.

The only reason we are been asked for WFO is because SEZ offices are subsidised by govt and those cannot remain empty.
Do you really think rfid tracking is difficult? Simply extract data in an excel and put some filters with duration between swipe in and out over a week's time and you get the defaulters list. Better go to office once per week to be in the safer side, anyways if hikes and promotions do happen in June, this will be the easiest reason to count you out. So give it a thought.

If hikes and promotion are the only things that ate going to het affected, I am good with it

Following the post. Keep us updated broski
I have asked for a base location teansfer despite having only 9+ months of experience here, so I am going to office once a week to prove to my PMO that I can attend office at my home location. Let's see what happens in the future, hope for the best for everyone 🙏🏽

How does this even make sense where the number of employees is more than the office capacity? Like you have to be on time for booking seats like a tatkal ticket.
