Trending @Accenture; Unfair promotion

I really don't understand how biased managers are considering promoting a resource to next level in nov 2024 who just got promoted on Nov 2023 on a term called business criticality .All the other resources hardwork is not at all considered. It's so disappointing waiting for a promotion and good hike in this case

Criticality, future plan, bias, or dependency- call it whatever; you only get promoted when your manager feels atleast one of these for you

No, ask for a connect and get a constructive feedback to grow and work on it. There are various factors involved in promoting one. It could be a requirement from the client directly.

It's frustrating, I get it. Promotions should be based on merit, not favoritism. If you're not valued here, maybe it's time to look elsewhere. Your hard work deserves recognition.

I have seen a senior in my team, who put his 200% effort, worked overtime, supported during critical time, completed mon contract work for clients but still some women who did normal work daily who was good with the manager got promotion.

He/she might have build dependency and might have got offers from marketplace, so consider those factors too...
