Trending @Accenture; Transfer before 2 year possible?
I have completed one year at Accenture, but I would like to change my base location now. I spoke with my People Lead, and he said he has no objection; however, HR might not approve the request. Earlier, I was able to manage with the one-day work-from-office policy, but with the new two-day requirement, it has become difficult for me to manage, and I need a transfer due to personal reasons.
CAN YOU GUYS SUGGEST ME THAT IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET A TRANSFER BEFORE COMPLETING 2 YEARS ?
Yes it is possible. I joined on Oct 2024 and was able to get the transfer on April 2025. As soon as I got onboarded to a new project in April 2025, I asked for the transfer. My manager approved. It was an OIT. I had even claimed reimbursements for air tickets, and I received that too.
How to do it…pls guide me?
ya NOW EIT was closed if ur manager approves transfer can be done without HR intervention
for now OIT - RDD can be done recently my location was changed from pune to hyd I was also ASE only
Yes it is possible
Convince your manager and if possible manager’s manager
Send an email requesting for relocation, get their approval on mail, forward the email to hr
Get organization initiated transfers HR wont have any role in it
Yeah you can get transferred if your manager is ok with it.
Employee Initiate is not possible, Project Initiated possible but your manager has to give valid reasons
