Traditional computing is like cooking at home, while cloud computing is like ordering takeout. The former gives you control but is laborious, the latter is convenient but can be risky. Twitter's move back to on-premise is like a rich man deciding to cook at home to save money. But isn't it ironic that the same rich man was promoting takeout all along?
