I am working in a project which is a US insurance company. The environment is extremely toxic and I don’t whom I should reach out for this. Not even me but everyone is suffering under this whole set of managed.
- shift timings are set to 12 PM - 10 PM . 1 hr for lunch + Dinner break.
- every-time you leave your laptop you have to put a status. & BEWARE you manager is always watching your status ! & calls you your phone to check where you are and why you have not set status. -if someone is working on weekends for support or deployment activities they are only allowed to only charge shift but not avail comp off to save project money ( management say “ tum allowance le hi rhe ho , holiday allowed nhi hai “ )
- manager talks rudely like a goon and want to review all the emails and passes comments on your experience and shouts in front of everyone.
- recently I got to know that he’s preparing a data where he’s collating which person logged in late due to some reason and doing PPA for them from last September month.
- no one is allowed to submit myte if he doesn’t review it. If someone submits Myte without inform him he rejects it and make sure to bash them on call.
- there is many more. Anyone interested is invited to experience it.
Don’t think that we can escalate to HR Or higher management , everyone is in their pocket and they are full of themselves.
I want to highlight this and I don’t know how this get this fixed.

Escalation will not work ! Even anonymous surveys and etc are not at all anonymous.
This organisation is rotten from the inside and to make you little calm, every project is like this. You'll find all illiterate and dumb cunning idiots sitting in project management, especially females, all thanks to the female quota which prevailed here for swifter promotion to females and that's not all bootlicking and basing team is in the blood of managers here, irrespective of gender.
HR and recruiters lie, mangers sucks, poor infra with ages old laptops.
The only advice I can give you is to make a switch, especially if you are a male, as there is very less probability of peace and promotion for you.

Now we know what to avoid. Tbh the only reason I'm working in same project for past 2-3 years is the supportive team & management... I had thoughts of switching projects for growth reasons but the management & clients make sure to commend me & request to continue here.

Involve HR asap, but whoever does that be ready for repucurssions. Maybe pip even.
But if you're working flawlessly you can defend it with HR and definitely will be out of project as it's not worth working like this.

Many have tired and left. The HR also don’t listen. What’s the solution. It’s not even him , it’s also people above them who have unimaginable worst behaviours. Female managers are rejecting of a female employee who is going to IVF treatment, saying I don’t care there is lot of work let her know your leaves can’t be approved. There must be something. There must be something that can be done

Drop an email to ATCI head HR and ATCI lead, only if you are leaving organisation and before you do collect all strong evidences and share them over onedrive link. Let's see if this can create an impact....
Let's see at what level your project lead can be defended.......

I suffered this for 4 months, and then I started behaving like they behaved with me. 😂 I used to call them at any time like they used to Always used to talk rudely
And the lead didn't even used to work... Just attending calls and harassing people... Gave her a hell of a month and then I resigned as I wanted to switch for better growth and money... Now I am on notice period and giving them a hell of a time
Sometimes you have to give them what they deserve
