Trending @Accenture; The worst place to work!
3 years since I joined Accenture at level 9. After last years no hike no promotion I was assured promotion in this cycle which has been now pushed to June! It’s absolutely frustrating for anyone who has been working really hard to get the hike and promotion they deserve, just to know couple of months before promotions were supposed to happen. This is truly silent layoff scheme. And Accenture had an audacity to send survey for “great place to work”
Top management executives here are least bothered about lower level employees and only think about their own growth. We had a MD who was literally getting involved in work of level 9 just to save his own ass and show business his contributions.
Accenture was much better place when I joined in 2021 and now I doubt if Accenture can ever rise to same level. Absolutely pathetic business decisions by top executives just to stand in market.
It’s high time for anyone who was hoping for promotion for the longest time ,to wait for next 2 months until hike is announced and then to pursue better opportunities outside.
I am totally done with Accenture! 😠
There are 3 dimensions of any job. Power, Fame and Money. Government jobs are high on power and low on money. Industry jobs are moderate on power and money.
Accenture is unique. The jobs here are low on all 3. No power, no fame and now no money also! Run!
@Nimbus05 - You have written my lines, I am at same position, even having top data points among all TLs in DU, they said there is no promotion this time, they said there is only one slot and that too given to a girl on the name of gender diversity! I resigned and took back just because they assured me on it, and now that is a waste.
I too had resigned and took back when they assured me of career growth, which never happened eventually.
Well I guess the entire IT market in India is like this these days, you will get a hike when you jump but then it’s stagnant especially if you go for lead and above roles. Best is jump 3/4 years.
This is true! None of these organisations care about individual growth.like I said I had higher hope from Accenture because when I joined in 2021, promotions were good .. hikes were okay but not that bad.
I have received decent hikes as per market standards only after a switch. Which is why after 3 years of no hike no promotion in Accenture it’s better to look for other opportunities.
Me too. No news for the hike and promotion in my deal. Plus no news from leadership on Accenture’s situation. They must be thinking people are now used to of no hike and no promotion and they will either work or resign.
Anytime I try to raise these points with higher ups they say that they don't have visibility and are unaware. I wonder then how MDs and CTO are taking such decisions because they take inputs from DU leads and other management people. On ground level there is lot of work and team as whole has been delivering best as per client expectations. But yet no growth :(
Actually to some extent it’s true the MDs are very powerless especially in the ATCI space they aren’t that empowered
Promotion will happen this year in Nov-Dec till Lvl8, and from next time it will in June.

Same for me..I have been eyeing the promotion from 2 years but everytime they have a reason which is not even valid
The budget for promotion is too thin this time around, just 2 people out of 600 are eligible for promotion in our business unit, imagine.
Do not hope for promotion at all just ide this wave and if you get a chance leave MNC I'd you are looking for such things.
As I read correctly for ATCI the promotion will be there till Level 5 (that is below MD level) in Dec 2024. Correct me if the understanding is wrong
