We had a call with Our Hr and one guy asked like he can't come to the base location due to family health emergency and if he can allow he will go to his nearby office but hr denied and told to utilise your leave. Just mark one day leave and it will counted as an exception for the whole week.

I don't think so, as the mail we get which track 2 weeks of attendance, unless you take the whole week off it will show that ..you were absent that week

You have to be on leave for all 5 days for it to be counted as exception. It was there in one of the official communications.
