
Trending @Accenture; Suggestions needed for upcoming promotion cycle
Hello guys,
I’m a fresher at L12 and completed one year at Accenture in November. I’ve been on my current project for about 11 months now.
With the upcoming June promotion cycle, I’m wondering if it makes sense to talk to my manager about promotion. A lot of senior in MY team have already resigned, and it looks like more responsibilities and workload might come my way because of that.
At the same time, I’m a bit unsure since I haven’t completed a full year on the project yet, and there are other L12s who joined before me, and, If I wait until the November cycle, I’ll likely have close to a year of experience handling tasks that are more aligned with L11 responsibilities but remaining at L12 only.
Now, im wondering should I proactively bring this up with my manager right now, or would it be better to wait?
Any suggestions or advice would really help. :)
