Hi Folks, today I have submitted my papers in Accenture since I got an offer from TCS for 36 % increment with designation as Associate consultant C3A. YOE in Accenture being my first company is 10, Current fixed + variable in Accenture is 17 LPA. TCS is offering me CTC of 24 LPA.
Infosys HR has negotiated for 25 LPA with designation at Senior consultant. Offer letter is expected in a week or 10 working days. Other interviews are also in pipeline. The only better thing in my current role in Accenture is the short term onsite opportunity that too once in 2 years of time. I will be able to grab max 1 more on site for 6 months.
My question is, can they retain me by matching the offer? They can also try to send me on site for long term which is possible for them. But for sure they will have a hard time finding my replacement as there are not much people available internally or externally of my skill set at current times. They are not interested in hiring someone from outside Accenture with 10 to 12 years of experience due to budget reasons.
Was it a good idea to submit papers and look for career progression?
Go , have some courage....Go TCS ....work for 10 more years... It will make a lot difference...get out of comfort zone

I would say go to some other company as tcs have 5 days wfo
I mean other company have 3 days or 2 days
Plus hikes in tcs is very less
If you plan to settle there and location and all is pretty good like near home then you can go
Or else I would say avoid tcs
Arey they still sending on site? I did not hear any news post covid. Earlier they used to in my project as well, but now they have most of their employee from india location and very few from US zone

Received an offer from Infosys too with 25 LPA as CTC.
Monthly basic in TCS is less where as more in Infy. Fixed salary in both company is somewhat same.
With less monthly basic, pf contribution will be less and in hand monthly will be be 12k more in TCS. Infosys has 11k more in monthly performance bonus.
I am confused about which offer is better for me. Friends are saying Infy is better in the long run.
Any suggestions are welcome.
