
Trending @Accenture; Stupid exams for appraisal and promotion
FYI This is just a rant!
I’m sick of everything that is mandatory for promotion and hike cycle. It is literally taking away my time. I hate this company so much for this stupidity. I am a good experience person data engineer and analytics field.
Why tf am supposed to sit through hours of mandatory basic training to make sure I get promotion and good hike.
Today my manager told me that my promotion is hard for this cycle cause not all trainings are completed. Even though I’m the one who is taking workload of person one level above me.
I have to sit through hours of basic training like sql, iics, etc! I know this shit that’s why you hired me!
Plus there are competencies which are very difficult to crack p3!

I can understand your pain. For me I have to do certification also. What you can do is run these trainings in multiple tabs at the same time. This way you can complete maximum trainings in minimum time period

I did 3 fcking certifications 😑 including paid databricks one

Which all courses needed to be complete?

My competency : primary p3, secondary p2, industry p3 Ethics and learning Gen AI training TQ External Certification SQL and tool related training/certification (may be mandatory depending on the project) Priorities on workday Workday Feedbacks Etc
It’s like they check everything else other than actual project work!
