Trending @Accenture; Stuck in a Project with No Learning :( - need career advice - what should I do next ?

I need some advice regarding my current situation at work. I joined accenture as a fresher in February 2024 and completed my training in databricks. After that, I got assigned to a project in May 2024, but the project is transitioning between companies, and I haven’t had any real work since then. I’ve just been attending internal trainings on some middleware and analytics tools.

Now, I’ve been assigned to a legacy application, snd they expect me to work with Java, and many of the services in the project are set to be retired by next year. The work on this project won’t even start until January 2025, and I’m worried I haven’t learned anything useful so far.

I also received an offer from another company which is 1.5x of my current salary, but they’re hesitant because my notice period is 90 days, they said they are gonna reach out to me in future if there are any opportunities and I’ll be completing one year with my current company in February 2025.

I’m really eager to learn, but I’m concerned that I’m not gaining the experience I need in my current role. Should I stay and wait it out or take the new offer? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
