Trending @Accenture; SM only talks to upper hierarchy.

Only people he talks to get promotion and are given ace awards. He is least bothered about other people. Not a fair play all together What will u do in my case

  1. Confront the SM
  2. Take role off
  3. HR is the solution
  4. Ignore

Whenever there is a recognition within the team without highlighting the achievements of those who got recognised, this is bound to happen. Any of your options above are not justifiable although you seem very unhappy.
You should have an open and honest conversation with your lead and question them why you were not considered for hike or promotion. There are more criteria for promotion than just communicating with senior leadership.
List down your accomplishments in the past year and compare with those who got recognised and discuss this with your lead. If it is unfair to gotta raise a concern without fear of retaliation but it is also important to understand what you should do at your role to get promotion and your hike depends on a various factors.
