Lol i don't understand this assumption of Hedonistic people that singles are just always alone and feel "empty" all the time. My friend if you require another person and sex to make you feel "Complete", i think you might need to ponder upon life. I have had relationships and intimate connections, and now that i am single, i don't feel like it's the only that in life that fills the void inside you. Won't deny the fact that sometimes one does crave intimacy, but that's just part of how our brains are programmed through years of evolution. That's the philosophical answer to your question.
The answer to how do we manage life. It's called being busy. I read books, play chess, play guitar, swim, play basketball, go to the gym, watch movies, hangout with friends and families. Lots of things to do in life apart from dating and fucking around i guess.

Sheeshhh... I do this exact same thing in pffice many times. I prevent I enter a dystopian post-apocalypse authoritarian office setting with very few people and a 100% corporate secured curated property, I imagine like I am the protagonist of Cyberpunk playing the corporate employee role, fun times haha
