I got promoted as analyst in September 2021 should I ask for promotion now?

I tried to initiate talk with my manager,
Instead of asking promotion , I told I wanted to talk regarding performance cycle.
Then he stopped replying to my ping one-to-one chats.
It means he knows what you want and in that he is not quite interested
It all depends on manager to manager and also the role we are playing when compared to other team member.. But it's better to put our thoughts by showing some documented content n why is that u are talking about growth
First try asking what are his plans for you. Check with him/her what is that expected from you to be promoted to next level so that u can start working towards it..Just doing a regular job will be a question again..

You can speak to your manager and know what are his plans for you.
Manager will not promote you even you ask for it.
He will have someone/some people in mind to whom he wants to promote.
Even you showcase your performance, he will not be able to promote you until you have performed something spacial by which client and Management happy about you.
You have to be special person in his mind to promote you. You became special when you perform something which others won't.
Performing BAU won't be sufficient for the promotion.
After all, there should be requirement within team.
