Trending @Accenture; Should I take up the role - Digital Marketing Advisory Associate
Hey all , I joined Accenture India last year after graduating in Computer Science Engineering in a city A. I work as a developer in an internal project. Now due to family issues and personal commitment I want to make a move to city B. So I aligned this with my team and they told if I find an opportunity in City B I can make the move and they won't hold me back.
I found a role called "Digital Marketing Advisory Associate" in my city of preference and I applied and got a call back as well. Should I take the role , it says WFO and rotational shifts , anybody who knows what the role is like, am I messing up my career by moving to non-tech , I am fairly interested in the role if it's a good type of Digital Marketing and quality work. What should I do , help pls!
I work with a lot of Digital Marketing Advisory Associate, this role will require leading diverse projects like emails, Websites , social media post, banners , pdf and many more . You will be directing a cross-functional teams. Also collaborating closely with the stakeholders holders. In this role you will be also coordinating with few international teams based in different countries. To conclude , this is an interesting role and gives you an opportunity to communicate with stakeholders and international team. On the other hand this does not include much of technical expertise . However you can apply your skills in the technical part maybe for creating websites / HTML emails and many more stuffs you can get opportunities there as well. I’m from a CSE (2023,tryin to get a job)but not very inclined towards coding. I’m considering a shift from tech to non-tech roles. Is there good scope in this path? I’d really appreciate any suggestions or guidance on how to grow after getting into such a role.
