I am serving notice period and have added about it on teams status so that everyone involved in project would know about this since I doubt my manager has informed onsite team about this. Did I do the right thing?

Why do u want everyone to know that you are leaving? On your last day just drop a farewell email. That’s what everyone does. But anyways it’s up to you.

I am leaving not because of good hike but because the work that I do in my project is not going to benefit me in any way in future. I have written about notice period just because my seniors who assign me task would know that I am serving notice period and stop micro managing me
