
Trending @Accenture; RTO with baby not allowed in shuttle
Hi guys, I am in my base location only but my office is 2.5 hrs travelling from my house.
The shuttle's last stop is 15km away from my house, also in the shuttle,we are not allowed to carry the baby along with us.. I want to put the baby in the daycare center provided nearby the Accenture office .
If I try to travel by myself to the office, cab charges are around 1700 both ways , almost all the salary is gone..
I can't relocate near the office as I am staying in my own house now..
Can't keep the baby at home with a caretaker as I will leave the house at 7am and back my 10pm.
What can be the option, will I get a hike or exception, or will they provide me with a personal cab? Kindly suggest

There will be always a constrain, think about pre-Covid scenarios and decide what you would have been done when WFO was the only option, do the same now as well.. no one interested in problem.

Why lead and managers giving post Covid scenarios..live in present not in past. Try to find new ways to work on not on old shit days

This is like asking someone who lost their legs to think of the time they crawled like a baby and come up with something.

Please raise exception in exception tool and ask manager and hr to approve it. U can skip some weeks visiting office. As you have strong reason so no one will take any strict action against u. May be u can just visit 1-2 days in month

For your own well-being and your child’s, I genuinely urge you to consider moving closer to the office temporarily, rather than focusing on staying in your own house right now. Every HR, DU, or manager has a certain limit to how much flexibility they can offer and when others are attending office regularly, it eventually begins to seem unfair. The team may start questioning things sooner or later.
As a new mother, your time and energy are precious please don’t exhaust yourself in commuting. Instead, try to find a place nearby. That way, even if you go to the office for just an hour or two to stay compliant, you can save time, reduce stress, and truly enjoy this beautiful phase of motherhood. We should not only expect only organization to help us with exception where we don't want to make any change to improve our life only .Come out your own house comfort zone and you won't depend on any .

Team should not question, why other team members have problem Remember there is no one-size-fits-all Ultimately work should be done, clients should be happy, no one bothers about team members

Take unpaid couple of year maternity leave, don’t travel on two boats at once. The baby will be neglected while you are away, no day care centre can be alternate of mother. Also neither you will be able to give 100 percent in work and some poor colleague will have to silently take your share of your burden.

This is not the solution, without salary I can't survive.

Switch company

There is just one thing you can do if you don't want to relocate and keep the job.
Go either early or late hours, commute yourself by your own vehicle, you said your base location is Pune, there are multiple locations Magarpatta, Hinjewadi I am sure nearest one won't be 2.5 hours away atleast not in early or late hours.
Just swipe in have a tea 5 minutes swipe out, both locations in Pune are having office open 24*7.
There is no other way to it, doing this you will suffer for one day only will save money from day care and be with your kid everyday. There won't be any exceptions now, atleast Accenture is having just one day working all other big companies are having atleast 3 and many 5 days working

Ask for personal cab...or ask shuttle manager to allow to carry baby...also raise one request to provide shuttle near you...nor 15 km far.

Please consider relocating, as no one is paying attention on the hrs you spent in offc, you can swipe and go back to your baby.
