Is it mandatory to visit office once in a week during notice period also? if not visiting office what action will they take

Ideally you should go to office.
But I have seen many not following it in notice period and no action was taken on them as they are leaving the organisation.
But act on your own risk, you never know what these HR partners can do
Can someone please answer this question? I have a similar situation
still 20 days left to my last working day. I got compliance mail yesterday. will they take any action if I didn't go to office. ( I am currently at my home town and need to travel to my base location)
Your people lead will be notified. Best to avoid any action as it can be used for petty reasons
