I will tell you as a PMO perspective: Ideally, a resource is eligible for project movement if he/she has worked in a project for 18 months. If that is done you should ask for project change. If not, you can check with your manager. Say him that you are looking for better opportunities and will only leave you get a project. This is important- ask him to set the ROV ( Resource On View) which will show you over bench list and other project can approach you directly. That doesn't mean you are rolled off from project it will give you some time to search for projects. If you get the project great else ask him to extend your ROV till the time you get project. If you are tagged as short term: 45 days time period If you are tagged as Long term: 90 days time period

Hi @QuarterlyCream75 , I am a fresher and got shadow locked to a project, there are no active roles in it and put us on project bench. In may I was hardlocked but still no work. I requested for a rolloff and my manager is ok with it and set my rolloff in August. I wanted to know if I am at risk or anything serious gonna happen.

Don't roll off, i made the same mistake. Changed my project out of frustration due to promotion delay and less hike. In new projects too they will surely take more than a year and chances are it will be delayed here too. My suggestion would be to switch. Rather than crying for 3-10%, go for 40-100% hike with better work culture

I'm trying to switch my domain, I have good certifications but I don't have experience. Do you think it will be a good idea to ask for roll off?

This is the right time to ask for roll off, release near appraisal cycle increases risk of PIP.

I also made the mistake I feel like, initially I received the critical feedback from my manager, later a week I set a call with her and clear everything but she was not listening so asked for the roll off this was in the second week of April but at the end of the April, same critical feedback was given by my PL and at the end of the May I got to know that I got PIP. After having discussion with HR, PL and M, there is no any sense but also have not received any PIP plan though... Sometimes I feel like they have given PIP because I asked for the roll off

I recommend please dont ask for roll off... there are no projects on bench... situation is worst here... even though yhe project is hell .. be there only.. they are cutting bonuses and also sending to pip...

Then what is the solution daily should I get scoldings from them?

Is this for real? Is this what the company is doing?

Ask for roll off if you're going to leave Accenture otherwise don't.

After rolling off if you get a project great if not search outside, you can tell them 30 days notice period as on bench the Accenture HR will tell you to leave ASAP they are not concerned for your skills they just want to offload people that's all.

That depends on how much you have experience in Accenture, if you ask to roll off they will come saying 2 years in one project is required, after that they will take approvals in all. That will require almost 3-4 months.

And even after you succeed in getting rolled off, they will provide negative feedback.
Which is gonna make your project finding a journey hell.

Better do less work (Stretch the timeline)-> Update your skills -> Interview.
