Trending @Accenture; Roll off from Shadow Hard lock

My primary skill is Java after training I was on the bench for more than 2.5+ months (looking for a testing or development role) but didn't receive any project calls on this role.

Recently I accepted a project(implementation and support in the health care domain) and gave my consent to them through email. They have shadow hard locks but I wanted to get rolled off since I don't see a better future or career growth in this field.

How can/ do I ask for roll off? What will be the consequences if I ask for a roll off ? If I get on the bench again can I expect this development or testing role project calls? Or will I get struck again on the bench . Till what time period I can be on bench
