Trending @Accenture; Return to base location
A nite has recently been published on Accenture portal for India employees where employees are required to return to base location starting Sept 1.However, the FAQ published still gives a three month window to anyone nit in base locatio. Will it bd s good idea to insist on that FAQ to request managers si that return to base location can bs delayed?
Basically for two reasons they want to people to be in the base location
one, when you have to replace your IT asset
two, whenever there is an event so people can attend in person
these are just BS reasons but still they will not enforce visiting office
the only way they're gonna know you aren't working from your base location is when the address is different when you're claiming the internet reimbursement
Sir any idea when portal is going to open for relocation??it's has been closed since last year June month.. And Accenture has just instructed to be at base location ryt ? WFH will be continued as usual?
Yes please tell me when portal will enable for all locations?
No hike = no return to base location.
What if your relocation request is still under process....will that be approved or rejected after that new policy comes... ?

that's your personal issue buddy no company would put nose into your personal issues, you can straight away deny them to provide any medical documents just for a location change, tell them you're uncomfortable sharing such personal issues. unless your role or project requires working from a specific location company has no rights to decline your request as this facility is being provided from the company itself
sorry to hear about your situation and apologies if i framed my response in a hurtful manner.
i only mentioned to have a strong reason because you know how people in PMO and HR are, they will have hundreds of resources asking for a location change or a project change so they do not entertain much.
you have a very strong genuine reason
and no HR or PMO would deny your request.

PMO is telling lie that she is unaware about the process .. and as of now only bubaneshwar is available 😢
@WindyHub7, Ask your PMO to change your demand details to tailor to your preferred location. The PMO can do it. As of now, Hybrid seems to be the norm.
