Simple question: In order to retain the joining bonus do I need to stay for 12 month before putting my papers or it has to be 12 months including notice period ?

Joining bonus is a scam, cant tolerate even a day, its been 4 months now since I have joined and cant think of a day when I dont think I have to resign
