Whats the guarantee that politics wont be there in the new organisation? Learn to survive, else you will keep on falling in tge same trap.

Before resigning, just take a couple of days off , just clear your head on one day and try to check how many job opportunities are out there through job portals or LinkedIn for your skillset. If there any many openings are present and you're confident on your skills, drop papers. If not , try to wait for sometime and drop papers once job opportunities are available out there. Also, on the other hand, mental health is more important, so you feel like you can't handle the stress, you can proceed on resigning. You also have to think about survival If you can't land on a job before your notice period ends.

Life is always a risk, if we are good and expert in what we are doing. If there are enough openings then we can clear it

Office politics are unbearable. If you're skilled and know the plan on how to get offer, then resigning is best

Resigning without an offer is risky, but if office politics are unbearable, it might be worth it. Just make sure you have some savings to fall back on.
