Trending @Accenture; Resignation issue

When trying to submit the resignation in the exit portal, I am getting an error that people lead needs to be updated on the workday after which it takes 2-3 days to update in exit portal. My people lead was added in workday 2 days ago. I have mailed my resignation to my people lead and hr partner.

I know the exit portal can be submitted with a back date of 7 days. But what if the people lead does not reflect here from workday even after 7 days. Could someone please help as my next joining date starts immediately after notice period
