How many months of notice period I will get if I resign during or one day before they put me in PIP My HR called me...and told me that they are starting my pip in 3 days... Please help

Its very dicy. Dont take it the other way, if your performance is drop dead bottom.. that bad, then its better you resign, that way you can serve notice and might get a chance to look at options outside, although its not the best option. If you dont resign and you were probably put in pip because of politics, then i suggest and i recommend this you wait out and try to do well. If they even terminate you severance might be applicable but not sure a 100%
