Are there any Level 7, 6, 5, or above members here? Could we please ensure that Level 8 employees cannot view the salaries of Level 9 and below? This is becoming a serious concern and could create insecurity and unnecessary friction within the team.

The idea of seeing salary is to make better decisions and consider moderation, as lead we need to ensure the reportees receive almost same compensation within same level and team. If we started feeling insecurity after seeing reportees salary, then 2 options either you try to normalise it or you leave the company (before doing that definitely bring it to the attention of leadership)

Oh, don’t be an idealist now. No one works like that. It’s strange that you’re being an idealist even while staying anonymous. Let’s be real - shame on you.

Why? Because CL9 Is having more salary than CL8 in this case? 😅😅

Below people have every right to know if they sre being paid properly or severely underpaid . But it also depends on skill though

Well this is a very big problem. It's a double sided sword, on one hand appraisal should be based on the work done not on someone's current salary. On the other hand people staying in the same company gets less than lateral hires, so adjustments are done accordingly.
