Why the heck HR aren’t approving reporting from nearest office request even when I am showing them genuine Medical reasons and if I report to nearest office instead of base location what will be the consequences of it. My people Lead is totally fine with whatever location I am reporting to it’s just HR isn’t approving my exception request.
It's just that if they approve for one person then others will keep pulling their collar. And to avoid overwork the simplest tool they know is to avoid the employee. This is the most pathetic way things work here. You will be chased and blamed for deliverables and when you ask anything in return they will just go silent. And treat you with a few bucks dinner.

First your lead/manager is one asking your HR to not approve your request and same time your lead saying infront to you that they fine that you can visit to the nearest office. If your lead is such a good person and he is helping you with medical concerns then ask for a transfer request .
Then you will get to know who is the real culprit.
