Trending @Accenture; Reg-wfh in Accenture
A week before I asked wfh to my manager he said that they asked every person to visit the office at least 2 days a week but if you don't get a hike or promotion don't complain to me and it's your decision to wfh or wfo

Accenture never asked the resources to return to office.Your manager is just being bossy.Based on WFH or WFO if they are deciding hike and promotion then ask roll off and move to a non toxic project.

Wfo and promotion has no link, it is a bullshit. So many of us relocated and started going to office, visited offices even when no one from same team was there, sitting alone for most of the days! And then when results were announced, guess who got the hikes and promotions......."special" employees got it🙂, whether they wfo or wfh, they got promotion🙂. This is bullshit, doesn't really matter!

More over @Freshman, your manager is just imposing his/her superiority and power. Just ask your manager for an official email from accenture where such terms and conditions are written.
They called us to office, but none of us got any official email, other than that one email from some senior management, we haven't received as such any official email as per our teams and projects, neither we have received anything in written that our choice of wfo or wfh would affect our promotion! They are just fooling us!

i think it depends on your location as well. my people lead said it’s compulsory apparently to go to office in mumbai.. idk if that’s true but i’m not going. it’s really far from my house. commute to and fro will easily take 3 hours

Just wait for this week bro... Hike or promotion will be declared... Then go for wfh... And if your manager asks for wfo tell him not to complain for doing wfh... It was your decision not to give or give less (whatever they declare in your case) ITTE ME ITNA HI MILEGA.... 😎😎

Working from Office is Project specific. If your other teammates are visiting office you might very well need to do the same else, just go back home and enjoy your wfh

It is all project and DU based, no direct notice has come from Accenture to resume work from office

WFO is not mandatory, also a life hack: If your manager is not in the same city as you, you can just tell them that you're going but actually you don't have to, they can't track your swipes if you tell them you went to a different facility ex if you are tagged to PDC1 and tell them that you are going to PDC2, they won't be able to cross check it.
I know this from a few folks who are doing this from the last 6 months with no issues.
