Hi Today a project manager contacted me regarding a project opportunity and when I said it's not related to my stream,he started to threaten me that he will give me a refusal tag by telling hr that I have refused a project. What should I do?
Once you are tagged with refusal from a project,HR will contact you within a week to understand the situation, based on your reply the tag will be updated as valid or invalid.
I got panicked at first and talked to my people advisor and he has confirmed it as invalid refusal tag. What will happen next if it's a invalid refusal tag? Will it create any delay in getting projects based on my matching skills?
Chill. Has happened with me as well. They give you 2 chances for project refusal. Just make sure that anyome else does not tag this againsts you after this
My experience, I got 2 project calls on the same day.. for one interview was pending and another one they were hardlocking me for project.. The first one I refused as they were calling me at client location and I just joined back after my maternity leave and my baby was on breastfeeding.. I choose another project which they were hardlocking me and giving WFH option.. So first one I refused.. So I got Calls from 2-3 hrs for refusal reason and they were asking me angrily like I have done something very wrong thing..
I have Chosen based on the situation at that time
Did hr ask anything regarding the refusal tag?
