Trending @Accenture; Recently joined Accenture at L9 and CTC is 23 LPA (18 fixed + 5 VP). Is this up to the market standards or underpaid. I got a hike of 35%.

I am at level 9 from last 3 years. My fixed pay is also 18 LPA. So, I think your pay is good. But don't expect 5 lakhs variable pay, you might receive around 2 lakhs per annum if your performance is good.

Are you expecting a promotion as 3 years is a long time.

Your CTC also depends upon the years of experience that you have and what band you fall into.. There will be a range that decides CTC for all L9’s.. Also the 5 VP is a notional number.. The calculation is very simple..
You are eligible for 21% VP out of 18 Fixed Pay.. So if you get your max VP it sums upto 3.78 VP.. But honestly you will never get that fully..
There will be multiple bogus reasons that will be given saying that company is not performing, Project has not met its targets, Lack of budget, your performance is not as expected, etc, etc..
Out of 3.78 VP you may get max 1.8 to 2.7 vp depending upon all the above mentioned factors.

Vpay at l9 is 27% not 21% in Accenture, I am near to people who work in HR. So it sums upto 4.86L

Yes you are right. Thats on the offer letter.. But this year various BU’s capped the variable pay to 21% due to internal reasons.

Looks like up to the market

VP would be around 1.5-2 lck if lucky. Don't want to disappoint with fake hopes anyways 🫡
