Do anyone is having any ideas like in every appraisal cycle what percentage of people is getting hike in each CL. Let me reframe it suppose if there’s 35 people in the same CL are nominated for the promotion then in that 35 people how many people get the promotion like top 5 or top 6. Just wanted to know the ratio or percentage example 10% or 15% of overall count.

For Dec 24 cycle, average is around 3-5percent will get promotion across all level and 14-15 percent will get flagged as talent priority so you can say for. 200 members in a DU ONLY 8-10 will get promoted and 30-40 will get talent priority

I am not from tech. but try to give you S&C perspective and most likely it should be same for tech. First of all every body irrespective of their level gets a basic hike (say 8%) so everyone in the team will get it except 1. IP cases - these people will not get any hike 2. DA (Distinguished Achievers) these people will be 15-20% of the overall team size (again irrespective of level) will get slightly better hike say 10% but their variable will be pretty high 3. Talent Priority- these people will be 15-20% of overall team size and will get maximum hikes (upto 15-30%) and slightly better variable then average 4. Promotion cases, these could be 2-6% of overall team size and will get good hike 5. Combination of DA, TP & Promotions, these people get maximum reward.

For promotions can we get above 30%? Also do we have any slots now for year end, by when we will know we are going to get promoted?

The promotions are still their for l12 to l9 they moved for l8 and below
