Trending @Accenture; Promotion when Resignation?

Even after asking multiple times if will get promotion this cycle even though i was eligible last november cycle AM and TL both told tough time, but your name is there in list first and once we get to be notified will let you know, So finally i got offer from TCS 30% though not much still i put paper last week, and now manager and assoc manager came telling take back will promote you, have talked to HR partner she told by this week we will get to know the outcome, and they are telling will promote you with 20% but not giving confirmation as in written. Now what should be my next step. I'm at level 11 and 4 years of experience in Accenture only.

Dude leave accenture. There you are getting 30% in TCS and here you are getting only 20%. Tell accenture to match your hike that with TCS, or tell them to give you more, and take that in written, otherwise later on they will just turn around and ignore you.
And most importantly, i guess you should leave by now that even after 3-4 yrs you are at same level, just leave!
Take new offer letter, work there for another 1 or 1.5 yr and then again find a new company. It is all about money, we are working for money, go where you are getting it. And even this year's result of TCS is better than that of accenture.
I think you should switch.

Had the same situation last December. Got a 30% hike as a retention. Worked very hard and the clients were not ready to leave mr. Don't trust anyones word as they change it frequently, be absolutely assured before pulling out the resignation.

Taking up which ever offer is in your hands. But tell to first give you a confirmation in writing then only take back your resignation

I think you should negotiate with TCS for a better offer now that you're offered 20% hike in Accenture

From my understanding, you should be SSE by this time. As you are getting offer from TCS, keep that offer and try some where else too, wherever you feel best, use that for negotiation with rest companies.

I Suggest you should have experience of new company rather than staying at one place.
